This site is the online home of the Weir Gallery of Berkeley California which from 1987 to 1995 provided a unique art environment, bringing together local artists, known and unknown, to meet their public and to savor the moment with champagne, poetry and music.

In addition to events and exhibits, the gallery maintained an inventory of etchings and stone lithographs by Rembrandt, Escher, Whistler, Palmer, and French masters such as Vuillard, Bonnard, Millet and Redon.
We continue to buy and sell original art and prints based on our own interests and the requests of clients.
Weir Gallery offers the following services:
Our resources and contacts make it possible to find the art you are looking for, if it is available.
Including examination, research and written statement, for insurance or general purposes.
Known editions may be certified through photographic and document samples. Originals must be shipped unframed and insured for in-hand study.
We provide exhibit planning for gallery and traveling exhibitions, with checklist, styling and presentation, public relations, etc.
The gallery provides licensing information for the work of selected artists.
As it has become popular to have black and white prints by Jerry Garcia colored by others, we accept requests to color the prints. Color by Roberta Weir.
The gallery makes referrals to appropriate artists. Roberta Weir accepts portrait commissions. These generally require two short sittings. No work from photographs.
Weir Gallery accepts consignment of art, if appropriate.
